buga studio provides ScreenTextExtractor, an Android OCR utility app that helps users recognize, copy, and translate text from the screen or from images selected by the user.

This Privacy Policy explains how ScreenTextExtractor handles information when you use the app. This policy applies only to ScreenTextExtractor and not to other buga studio apps or games.

2. Information handled by the app

ScreenTextExtractor may temporarily process the following information on your device to provide its features:

• Screen images captured only after you explicitly grant Android screen capture permission.
• Images that you select from your device.
• Text recognized from the screen or selected images.
• Translated text generated from recognized text.

These items are used to provide OCR, copy, overlay display, and translation features.

3. No developer server storage

ScreenTextExtractor does not send screen images, selected images, OCR results, or translated text to a buga studio server. buga studio does not operate a server for storing ScreenTextExtractor user content.

Screen images and recognized text are processed temporarily for the requested feature and are not retained by buga studio.

4. Advertising, analytics, accounts, and purchases

The current version of ScreenTextExtractor does not include advertising SDKs, personalized ads, analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, user account registration, cloud save, or in-app purchases.

If these features are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the app's Google Play data safety disclosures will be updated accordingly.

5. Permissions used by the app

• Screen capture permission: used only when you request screen OCR.
• Display over other apps / overlay permission: used to show the floating OCR button and OCR result overlays.
• Foreground service notification: used when Android requires a visible notification while screen OCR features are active.
• Image selection: used when you choose an image for OCR. The app processes only the image selected by you.

6. Third-party services

ScreenTextExtractor may use Google on-device machine learning components, such as text recognition, language identification, or translation components, to provide OCR and translation features. Some components may require downloading language or recognition models to the device.

ScreenTextExtractor does not use Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Play Billing, or Firebase Authentication in the current version.

7. Support inquiries

If you contact buga studio by email for support, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, device model, Android version, app version, screenshots, and issue description. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and improve support.

8. Children

ScreenTextExtractor is not directed to children under the age of 13. buga studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through ScreenTextExtractor.

9. Data deletion requests

3. 개발자 서버 저장 없음

ScreenTextExtractor는 화면 이미지, 선택한 이미지, OCR 결과, 번역 결과를 buga studio 서버로 전송하지 않습니다. buga studio는 ScreenTextExtractor 사용자 콘텐츠를 저장하기 위한 서버를 운영하지 않습니다.

화면 이미지와 인식된 텍스트는 사용자가 요청한 기능을 수행하기 위해 일시적으로 처리되며, buga studio가 이를 보관하지 않습니다.

4. 광고, 분석, 계정, 결제

현재 버전의 ScreenTextExtractor에는 광고 SDK, 맞춤형 광고, 분석 SDK, 크래시 리포팅 SDK, 사용자 계정 생성, 클라우드 저장, 인앱 결제가 포함되어 있지 않습니다.

향후 이러한 기능이 추가될 경우, 본 개인정보처리방침과 Google Play 데이터 보안 공개 내용이 함께 업데이트됩니다.

5. 앱 권한 사용 목적

• 화면 캡처 권한: 사용자가 화면 OCR을 요청한 경우에만 사용됩니다.
• 다른 앱 위에 표시 / 오버레이 권한: 플로팅 OCR 버튼과 OCR 결과 오버레이를 표시하기 위해 사용됩니다.
